Gola di Stanghe ravine near Vipiteno
Gola di Stanghe ravine is located at Racines. Named "Emperor Franz Josef's Ravine" a century ago, it's now known as the "Gola di Stanghe". What begins as a small rivulet called Racines Brook gradually turns into a mass of rushing water which has dug underground paths in the white marble over the centuries. It's a place where you can truly appreciate the full magnificence and primitive force of Nature.
